This site is a quiet, ongoing study of northern landscapes, the far edges of habitable land where weather moves in quickly and light changes faster than anywhere else. The photographs gathered here focus on untamed country rather than monuments: seascapes, open tundra, northern forests, rocky coastlines and the long horizons that only exist above the Arctic Circle. The northernmost regions of Alaska, Iceland and their neighbours are treated as a subject worth returning to, not as a backdrop, with the changing seasons and shifting special light doing most of the talking.

The northern countries hold a particular appeal for landscape photography because everything is exposed there. Wind strips vegetation low, water erodes slowly, and the skies occupy an enormous share of the frame. Whether the subject is a beach at dusk, a snowfield in flat morning light, or a road running toward weather, the images are composed to keep that scale intact. Nothing is staged; the work waits for conditions and lets the sea, ice and weather write the frame, then keeps only what feels honest.

Beyond the galleries and the map-based browsing of favourite locations, the site is organised around the idea of a personal playground for the eye: a place to see the north at different hours, in different moods, and in different states of decay and renewal. Some photographs are quiet and nearly empty; others are violent with cloud, spray or low golden light. Taken together they form a portrait of the northernmost land as a living, restless place, where seasons set the rhythm and the horizon remains the dominant line in almost every composition.

The press and editorial side of the site exists for anyone wishing to publish this work. Northern landscape images may be licensed for reproduction in print, used editorially in articles and features, or issued as fine art editions for exhibition and collection. Files are prepared from original negatives or digital captures and delivered at high quality, so a reproduction can be printed large without visible loss of detail. Requests describing the publication, the intended run and the specific image are answered directly by the photographer, who handles licensing enquiries personally.

Collections are organised by region in the Galleries, including Alaska, Iceland, Hong Kong cityscapes and New York cityscapes.
